1. Install HTTPS Everywhere

2. Sent a Do Not Track request

You can set your web browser to sends a request asking the server not to track you. To enable this in Firefox, go to "Edit" and click "Preferences". Click the "Privacy" tab and mark the circle that says "Tell sites that I do not want to be tracked." In Chrome, click the settings icon with the horizontal lines and click "Settings". Then click show advanced settings and check the box that says Send a Do Not Track request.

Bing, Google, AOL, Yahoo, and most other major search engines track your every move. The private alternative is DuckDuckGo. You may also want to disable sending reports to Mozilla and Google.
